Actually it does match one of the Black Watch Patterns ITI number: 3695 Black Watch (Smallest Sett)

There are 8 different Variants of Tartans among the Black Watch designation.

This is becoming very interesting. I knew about different sett sizes as well as color variations from each mill (not to mention "weathered", "ancient", and other subsets of color). I was unaware that the actual tartan pattern could have variations.

Maybe Matt Newsome could clear this up?

    As Listed by the STA

    Black Watch ITI 207
Black Watch (Band Plaid) ITI 396
Black Watch (Course Kilt) ITI 1563
Black Watch (Fashion Variant) ITI 3698
    Black Watch (Pendleton) ITI 3696
    Black Watch (Piper) ITI 3095
Black Watch (Smallest Sett) ITI 3695
    Black Watch Dress ITI 3094

These are those recorded by the STA.

That's all I am claiming, that the Pattern on the Stillwater looks as if it is the "smallest sett" pattern of the Black Watch.
