If you don't check in often you get overwhelmed with new posts. The It's a triage process or you're on for hours.

I am actually a member of fifteen or so other forums. I rarely visit most of them. Sooooo.....I guess that I could be classified a forum junkie too .

Why not - your addiction is probably incurable, but what would this forum be with out you?

I voted 2-3 times a week since that is how often I have internet access. However those days I am on for at least five hours out of the day.

I'm a member of a handful of different groups, 3 kilted, 2 herps (as in critters), one philosophy/religion (very disappointing, currently), one frog collecting (inactive), and if I could keep up with the activity here, I'd join a homebrewing group - and prob'ly will, I can afford the time to keep up with.... maybe two - if y'all would stop posting so much! It's a good thing SWMBO handles solitude like I do!

If you do decide to join a homebrewing forum, check out the forum at Northern Brewer. It is www.northernbrewer.com .

Additionally they are one of the better mail order sites for homebrewing. Great catalog too.

Geez, we are kind of hijacking the thread. Sorry about that folks

When I first started I was 1 or 2 times day but life is busy with 2 lil' boys.
So now, I'm 2-5 times a week...it's hard when your gone for a few days and there are 2000+ new messages. I miss a lot of threads
I read and enjoy what few threads I do get to

    total addiction !

I used to plug in once a day, but over the years my visits were more spaced out, as I got the feeling there was nothing very new or adventurous being submitted. I usually looked at the posts with photos which I always enjoy, and skipped many of the others.
Frequently I told myself there were more usueful things I could be doing with my time ...
and then -- catastrophe -- my trusty laptop gave me a sllght electric shock and went on strike.
Two weeks without internet connexion was as bad as a month without a kilt.
Back in touch today; what a relief! Good to know you guys are still around.

Martin, hopelessly and utterly addicted to kilts and the net.
