St. Pat's Past Tense
Boy...am I posting this late...
...but I got a chance to meet up with RK Rex and Mrs. Rex (Lynne) on St. Patrick's Day here in Chicago. Rex had a very cagey approach to finding a place that wasn't crowded: he and his entourage went to CND Gyros and commandeered the table in the back....while 50 people were standing in line to get into the Bennigan's on Michigan Avenue, I just got to walk right in and join the party. Opaa!
Rocky can feel proud because RK makes the McQueen USA Kilt look right good. Not counting pipe bands we were probably two out of half a dozen guys who wore kilts to the festivities...hey, we came dressed for the occaision, what about the rest of these people?
Anyway, good to meet ya', Rex. Hope you find that caber to practice with and a large field to practice in. Highland Games season is just about here so I hope to be able to get together again at one of the games between here and Michigan.
Best
AA
