I am a runner but I don't usually run kilted. I usually run in my shorts or tights. I only ran kilted once and it was during the Relay for Life a few years ago.

I have in gym class when we played basketball... And football. I was the center, so that made things interesting...

For basketball, it was ahrdfor them to gaurd me properly. They didnt want to get too close. As for football, I'm a distraction anyways, because I'm violent. But nothing beat spearing a kid while wearing a kilt.

to get me to run there has to be something big, mean and hungry chasing me,
    or
young, hot and busty running away from me.

I have run a few times in my sportkilt, but never regimental. I prefer more support and also the modesty thing. I run in shorts usually when i run. Less hassel.

    Running in a Kilt

On the Queens's estate at Balmoral each year there are athletic races, one of whch is the "Tartan 10K", in which runners are invited ( ie expected) to run in a kilt. The next races are 28.4.07.
