Anyone else ever run kilted?
Wondering if anyone else on the boards runs, and specifically if they run kilted.

I try to run some, but between the removed veins for a blown bypass and the statins, I have quite a problem doing so.
I haven't run kilted yet, but I hope to be able to pull off a 5k this summer, and I will run it kilted!
How about you?

Only after my son (he's 2 and VERY FAST).
Where:
I did it at the BBQ in Greenville, in the X-marks kilt.
(for some reason, I feel like I'm playing Clue -> DID I WIN???)

I can only imagine (wait no I don't) that something constrictive would need to worn under the kilt in the event of running in a kilt. Otherwise the damage one could cause to thine own parts could be serious.

Humans evolved as plains runners without the benefit of jock straps, no damage will be done.
I used to run all the time, about 8 miles every day. Cant do that anymore, my knees dont like it. I try to stick to low/no impact stuff for my cardio now.

I am reminded of a famous Satchel Paige quote:
"Never look back, what's behind you might be gaining!"
(Or SOMETHING like that)
Satch was possibly the BEST pitcher in the history of baseball. I wish I could have seen him. In his 40s (after 25-30 years pitching-> he started in his mid-teens), he was STILL one of the best when he FINALLY broke into the "Majors."
(Unfotunately the segregated leagues kept inconsistant records, so his stats are guesses at best)
Now, back to topic . . .
