YouTube clips of Celtic Evening performance
Last Saturday evening, our band, the Mohawk Valley Frasers, sponsored a Celtic Evening benefit performance. We had an incredibly enthusiastic audience of 1500 people!!
We had 85 performers in 16 acts over the course of the evening, and one of our pipers put clips of some of the acts up in YouTube. Thought you might like to see them. I was MC, as you'll see, and I piped in a set with our Grade 4 section, but there isn't a clip of that up yet. Anyway, I thought you'd get a kick out of these. If you watch nothing else, watch the 4th and 5th one. Andrew Douglas is an _amazing_ piper.

The fifth one is simply amazing....
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Andrew Douglas is certainly one helluva piper!
I have never heard such sounds as he manages to invoke from his instrument and the perfect co-ordination of fingers and brain at speed is something to admire!
