Celtic Evening in Central New York

The Mohawk Valley Frasers will reprise their 2005 smash hit A Celtic Evening on Saturday, April 28 in Rome, NY at the Capitol Theatre at 7 pm.

The show will feature pipers (including world-class piper Andrew Douglas from the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band), drummers, Highland dancers, Scottish country dancers, and Irish step dancers, Celtic vocalists, two Irish music groups, an Irish fiddler, an Uilleann piper, and an audience sing-along for the finale. The show was a huge hit the last time, and we think it will be even better this time.

X-Marks' own Barb Tewksbury will be the MC again. Doors will open at 5:30, and there will be entertainment before the show starts at 7:00. Parking is free at the City of Rome parking garage.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the Capitol Theatre at 315-337-6453. Proceeds from the show will go to benefit the Capitol Theatre and the Mohawk Valley Celtic Performing Arts Scholarships. Tickets are a mere $12 in advance for adults and $4 in advance for kids.
