Were you allowed in or not? You know, one time I was wearing my kilt to a formal event, and some guys were snickering at me. Then, like a Scottish ghost from the past, a voice in the distance warned them, "Beware the sgian dubh, laddies!" And with that, my girlfriend took my arm, and we strolled into the place like we owned it!

I wish that I would have worn a Kilt in high school, but that is in the past. I finally did get some class and as you say it looks a lot better than a tux, even though a tux looks pretty good.

i didn't go, didn't rent the outfit, boycotted the whole even
played a gig in Toronto with one of my bands
(i was in 4 different bands at the time)
so i had a better time than they did.t.
