AFAIK, Genesee Country Museum holds a highland gathering every year. There is also a very large highland games in Syracuse this summer. That isn't a very long drive from you. By the way, Sonnenberg is awesome. My wife and I are going to visit sometime this summer.

I will have to try to find some info about the games in Syracuse. And if you let me know when you plan on visiting Sonnenberg I may be able to meet you there. FYI the Rose Garden is just starting to pop.
