That new commercial where that king thing is dancing with a mustache....that one's really wierd. I've never eaten at Burger King, but I'm definitely afraid to now.

It pretty much creeps me out too, and I think I know why... I suspect that the person under the big head in that commercial is a woman. check out the legs when "he's" dancing and the hands stroking the mustache in the next scene, just looks too feminine to be a man.

So olde...never heard of Mac Tonight...thought it was Ray Charles too...

Of course I HATE McDonalds ever since they named their clown back in 1968 and my phone didn't stop ringing until call tracing came out.

Did see great graffiti at one of the construction sites when they were building the METRO in Washington D.C. back in 1970

    God is love,
    Love is blind,
    Ray Charles in blind,
    Ray Charles is God!

    Made sense to me.

I'm glad Grinder came up with the answer, Dirka. Otherwise, you'd have had me wracking my brain all day. I remember that ad campaign, but I would not have come up with it without help.

Ahhh...you have taken me back to my childhood! I remember that big, scary moon guy! I also remember people having a tiny logo of him on their sunglasses (must have gotten them at McDonald's, I suppose!).
