Living proof of the above I am..... But we manage to refrain from assault and like indiscretions. Now if I could just gain some impulse control in the communication department .
Since so many post about how wearing the kilt makes them feel better, I know it is the case with me, one has to wonder about this kilted man-beater on the loose. Must be a pretty unhappy fellow. We will include him in our positive thoughts and invocations.

My spouse is a cop and yesterday they got a look-out for an male between the ages of 15 and 50, probably african american but possibley a darkly tanned hispanic or asian, wearing jeans and a hoodie.
That pretty much eliminates only old white ladies from the line-up! Police descriptions can be a real hoot because they get soo vague sometimes.

I think anyone reading that article might have seconds thoughts about making rude comments to a guy wearing a kilt.

I thought that was the point? "The man said a man wearing a kilt he did not know..." Emphasis added Clearly, the witness could not ID the tartan!

NOT ONE OF US?
(June 9 -- Fight at festival: An Akron man reported he was assaulted while attending the Irish Festival in downtown Falls at 11 p.m. June 8. The man said a man wearing a kilt he did not know threw him to the ground, punched him in the face and in the back of his head. The Akron man also said the man wearing the kilt threatened him so much that he became terrified and fled. Police said they are investigating.)
IF you substitute the word kilt for pants:

Men, don't wear your kilts in that area for a while. You might become the victim of police profiling!

Well if you are ever in Southern Ontario, just do not look at how the women treat Grant on a kilt night and it will all become clear.
Seriously though, I have fought the same type of battle with motorcycle riding unfortunately there exists among us some pretty distasteful people oh well welcome to the human race. It is my hope that disruptive kilties will be taken aside by their friends and shown or told what acceptable behaviour is. All we can strive to be are good examples.
