DO wear shoes that make your kilt look good - and note that footwear is part of the kilt ensemble (prolly the first time I've typed "ensemble" this year ... )
DO lead any charge with a broadsword, watch your legs around hot metal objects.
Don't wear socks with sandals - ever. Not even in Florida
For the women: DO hang with men in kilts (sons, fathers, and brothers inclusive) DO defy gravity
Don't answer "the question" when other women ask, just smile ...

I just had to post this one.

this band is french and they sent me an invite to be friends on myspace. now, there music is like a metal/rock and pipe fusion, it relies moreso on the pipes. I think it sounds really cool. I don't think they should be displaying themselfs in that manner though.

I think the picture is totally fine. I've shown a little leg while wearing my kilt for fun wedding photos. I think all that they need are belts and sporrans.

I noticed that the two men who seem to know how to wear their hose (either down with boots or up with flashes and gillies) are not doing the leg thing... Hmmm looks like two of them may know something about the kilt.
