Amazing.
Yeah, I just got back from Milwaukee's Irish Fest, and I saw a man in full attire (argyll jacket, tie, kilt, sporran, hose, flashes, ghillies, etc) but his kilt was on backwards. I pulled him aside and said "I think you have your kilt on backwards". Keep in mind, I was in my pipe band uniform, and thus had a kilt on the correct way. He replied, noting that I had an Irish kilt on, saying "No, this is how the Scots wear it". I just said "Yes, of course. You're right" and let him be on his way. He was far too sure of himself for me to argue the point. Besides, he was going to see all the other kilts that day and notice that his was truely on backwards.

It's that Drambuie thing again. Some people need to stick to Irn Bru.
Or maybe it's the other way around. Oh, wait...see what I mean?

Personally, I can't wait for Celtic Fest here in Chicago in md-September...Lot's of "don'ts" there...lots of kilted newbies who have not had the good counsel that Xmarks could have given them. Thus the guy a couple of years ago who was wearing his kilt with the basting stitches still in it.
Beloitpiper, sorry that I missed getting up there and thus missed that guy...
Best

I enjoy wearing my kilt and I enjoy riding my motorcycle, but there isn't enough velcro in this world that will allow me to mix these two simple joys
For me, that is a definite "DON'T" !
