If you can give us an estimate of dates you will be in Victoria I will do my best to get a rabble together for a Victoria Kilt Night.
We will roll out the red carpet at Freedom Kilts for you.
For your visit in Victoria I can help with securing lodging, entertainment, tourist "musts", and recommendations for vittles. Companionship I'm afraid you must arrange yourself. Send me a PM or e-mail.

I would be happy to be part of this rabble! Ditto for the date estimate, RR .

Watch out, RR! I didn't see any red carpet around his shop - but I did see a very large roll of PINK camo!

If you can escape that, Victoria is a very nice place with some very nice and interesting people. Enjoy your stay there.

LOL... yeah, I saw that, too!
Sorry, Steve, but that pink camo looks to me like a REALLY bad Pepto-Bismol accident!!!

If you are looking for a local night out, I live in Puyallup, and could always make an excuse for a night out in the kilt and a few pictures with the kilted brethren. I'm in town that week, and would be glad to link up.

I really appreciate that, Steve. I'm still trying to work out a date with my sister, but this Victoria Clipper overnight package with a tour of the city & Butchart Gardens caught my eye (ouch!).

I like the idea of getting to Victoria by sea. Does anyone have any better suggestions on getting to Victoria from Seattle?

RR, in my opinion there is no better way to go. It's downtown to downtown, and is faster than flying when you factor in airport time. The scenery from Seattle up the Puget Sound is incredible, and coming into Victoria by sea is very scenic.
You may want to add another night or two in Victoria, because I think if you do the Butchart Gardens overnighter tour that they mention, it will take up most of your time here. The tour is nice, though.
