    If you are looking for something historical, one of the hand knit broad bonnets, or even just the repro highland bonnets we sell down on the bottom of this page would work:

    If you are looking for a moder modern cap and don't like the balmoral or glengarry, I think a flat cap, sometimes called a driver's cap or a couny cap, looks great with a kilt. Especially a tweed one (I beleive Brad is wearing one with his weathered Henderson kilt in the link he posted in this thread).

    That's brilliant!


    About hats, how about a beret? They look great with kilts and have similar lines as a balmoral without the added ornamentation. You can still add a badge if you want though.
