I've had good results so far.
Thanks for the info. My concern is basically for the leather as my wife has told me that leather shouldn't be put in the washer. I try never to argue or disagree with SWMBO unless I'm real sure of my information.

    Thanks!
BruceK, Rocky may need to verify this, but if I'm recollecting rightly, you should NOT run a USAK PV kilt to the dry cleaners, as it can strip off the teflon coating.

    Best,

One other comment re cleaning PV: I make sure that every little bit of fabric softener is cleaned out of the washing machine before I load my PV kilt and I make sure not to use any during the wash either. Like dry cleaning, the softener will remove the teflon coating.

I'll just add that wearing a PV kilt in hot weather is a special delight. Knowing that you can just wash it when it gets too sweaty is a bonus.

Thanks for the interesting reading, Ozone!

To others... Yes, the info on cleaning our Casuals and Semi trads is correct...

Machine Wash Cold, Hang Dry. Do NOT use Fabric Softener.

The manufacturer says it can be dry cleaned, but I strongly advise against it as the chemicals used can take the teflon coating off of the material over time.
