    Poly viscose

I do like this material for kilts, much has been said about it here.

    My question (for Rocky)is this:

What's on the horizon? are any new tartans being developed/offered by those who produce the material?

    I'd love to know

    Graham,

I really like the way that weathered Morrison looks in your pic gallery. It looks alot more blue than what the USA website shows. Their website lists it as wool, how do you like it compared to your poly-viscous one?

Hay Rocky, my wife has gotten use to the last kilt and I've been out of the dog house for a week now. I say DITTO on Grahams question, it's time for me to get back in the dog house so before I do I want to know if there is anything new coming so I can at least make it worth scratching the fleas!

    Thanks,
    RLJ-

Tim the tartan is lovely, the wool is soft and comfortable, but it's very open weave, it doesn't sit well. So, I don't wear it out anywhere, which at first was dissappointing, but I have other kilts to wear out and this one is great for around the house so it was worth it, only cheap.

It would be nice to see in poly vis or a better wool.

New Tartans... Hmmm... Wouldn't that be fan-freakin-tastic.

Is our mill turning out new tartans? A couple. Not too many. What new tartans do WE have (In Poly Viscose)? I'm glad you asked!

    Red (aka Royal) Stewart
    Clark (Blue white and black)
Caledonia (red, blue, yellow, etc... very colorful)
Thompson Camel (tan and black with red stripes)
    MacNaughten (maroon and drk green)
Robertson (red and drk green/drk blue)
Campbell (like blackwatch with red and blue stripes)
    MacQueen (black and red)
Gordon Dress (same as on site but in PV)

Maybe a few others... that's all I can find right now.

I was wondering if you had fallen of the face of the Earth Rock! Where you been? Busy making kilts I am sure.

Rocky, how about Black Watch in Poly-Viscose?

Or even better I would really like a McDonald in PV.

    Yup, that's it!

The closest I can come to family colors unless someone starts doing a McDonald of Glencoe PV.
