Well James, in my book they would be the first to go. I would not care where they went, just as long as they did. On the other hand, I would not have harboured such things in my wardrobes in the first place, so the problem would never have arisen!
As for everything else, when I took to full-time kilt wearing 8½ years ago, the local charity shops had the benefit of everything that was in good or reasonable condition. The remainder went to the recycling depot. For a couple of years I hung on to my very best business suit - just in case something came up where I felt the kilt would be inappropriate, but it never did so the suit went the way of the rest!
