Actually, the Circle of Ouroborous and their Time Corps would take on all comers and not even flinch. With the oldest human in the galaxy (Lazarus Long), the incomparable Hilda Mae Burroughs Long, and Jubal Harshaw on strategy, along with Mycroft Holmes IV and Pallas Athene Long operating the Supersnooperscope, no one stands a chance. If they don't like the way a battle is turning out they will send a Time Corps agent back to edit someone vital to the enemy's victory out of the picture.

    Hey Gang,

The Battlestar Pegas (TNS) vs Stardestroyer. Or better yet a BaseStar (TNS) vs a StarDestroyer.

Vor'Cha...those big triangle ships in SW...yeah...there gone. Oh, and the Narn and Centari...targets!!!

NegH'Var...well, there is no competition for that, although the Vorlons would be a nice match.
Hmm ... heavy battlecruiser against a freighter ... ship with a crew of 12 versus one-man fighter ... where is the Klingon honor in these actions? Swatting at smugglers is not the action of a true Klingon warrior. Besides, a member of Rogue Squadron or a competent B-Wing pilot would smoke the Bird of Prey.

Vor'Cha battlecruiser against a Star Destroyer - the Imps get this one. If they bother to stop at disabling the Klingons with their ion cannons, they've got hundreds of cannon fodder in white armor for boarding parties.

NegH'Var - dunno, need a size/crew compliment comparison. But it could be taken out by a single Jedi (Corran Horn or Quinlan Vos, or the Wookie Jedi Lobacca)(yeah, that's right - Jedi Wookies. Let's see the Klingons deal with that!)

    Geeks, I mean guys.
This is the last place that I expected to find other geeks. (Except for our "eccentric" interest in an ethnic garment from another continent. (It seems most of those engaged in this discussion are from N. America.))

Kind of brings me back to my teens and twenties when we had these same discussions. Keep on. I'm enjoying this.

this is sorta off topic...but does anybody remember an anime series from the late 70's called Star Blazers? I vaguely remember the starship Yamamoto and that big cannon that blew whole planets up.

I do! I believe the cannon was the mighty "Wave Motion Gun".

From the desk of Deslok of Ganelon

    Tuesday

Note to self, remember not to attack Spaceship Yamamoto from the front! It has a REALLY big gun that only shoots forward.

Also pick up dry cleaning and get frozen potstickers on the way home after work.

Tivo LOST as it's Shark Week on Animal Planet.
