Another good reason for wearing the kilt

A good kilt will make a man several inches taller.

I have the right to remain silent. Anything I say can and will go in my permanent folder with the possibility of a sticky note on the file jacket.


Glad you had a good kilted day. Being that I am obese, bald and was never accused of being a pretty chap, flirtations and such from the ladies tend to really make my day as well.

I don't know if these ladies know how much good they do for the rest of the day when such an event befalls. I am just glad they see fit to do so. Behold the power o' the kilt.

Thanks for reminding me to add the Brittany tartan kilt to my wish list. Have a slew of ancestors from there who must have followed William The Conqueror (is that the right guy?) across the channel. My maternal uncle's middle name was Britt after that branch of the family tree which traces back to Thomas Brett b. 1535 in St. Clements, Hastings, Sussex

I remember Ham's kilt in the tartan and how beautiful it is. And thanks for the reminder on how different local cultures can be.

I have taken it upon myself to compliment a lady (age is immaterial) when I have found her outfit classy and striking. Whether it be her shoes are just that little bit more unusual (and matching the outfit, of course), or the whole ensemble itself, I find that I can bring a smile to their faces with a genuine compliment - even more so, when they realise that I'm not actually trying to pick them up!

Thank you very much you made my morning" Anyway it put a smile on her face and it made me feel good too.

I wore my first kilt out for the first time this weekend. I asked my wife what she thought afterward, and she said I looked good. "Only a manly man can wear a skirt.", she said with a smirk. It was a compliment.
