    I personally think the "bigger" belts are too costumey. 2.25" is about as big as I'm willing to go. The one here is 2".

    The belts that I build are typically 2.5" I just have trouble finding the buckles to go with a belt that wide. I dont design them in the "traditional" style that I saw marketed at the St. Louis games. Mine are just your typical holes punched in the belt and then the buckle "peg"fits in the holes to hold it tight. Thinking about building a 2" or 2 1/4" soon because I echo Bradley's feelings about the 2.5 being "costumey"

    i think that looks fine too, but i think thicker does look better IMO. it that a morrison??

    i was thinking of getting a 3" inch belt with studs or spikes on it, totally killer!

    Morrison (ancient hue), 8 yd, 13 oz. wool, handsewn. Check out the pleating on this bad boy.




    Oh, and the brown belt is also of the 2" breed.

    my mother is a gillmore and thats were i get my scots blood. looks awesome man, though i like the modern version better.

    i have to say the 2 incher does look good on it.
