I went to William & Mary and never heard nor saw the tartan. I haven't found mention of it on the College's website either. I just see the copyrighted version found by the Tartan Ferret. I hope this isn't another Maine Tartan thing where a person decides to boggart the tartan for no good reason. Then again, wouldn't only the College have the rights to the name? It's not like it's a last name...
Anyway, hopefully soon there'll be a better looking, better known and more readily available tartan for our use. The first president of the college, James Blair, was a Scot after all!
