On that note, yeah, I actually tightened the sporran chain a bit in that photo. I'm trying to find the comfort zone with it. Thanks for the tip.
As soon as you can, get rid of the chain and use a leather sporran strap. The chain wears down the material faster than leather. I think they look better too.

And they're more comfortable! And BH- as you're a guy of larger stature like myself, I deffinetely advise the strap. I'm a 52- I'm a 290lb hiker and martial artist- so I know how difficult it can be to find the comfort zone. And by the way, I've been debating weather or not to get an SWK Thrifty. I own three SWK's- two Standard and one wool. I love them- they're great. Only problem is that my legs are gigantic so I have to get the hip strap altered. Otherwise it will pull the kilts apart. And by the way, your wee on' looks great!

All best in your upcoming matches.
Thanks, man! I appreciate all the cheering I can get in my corner.

And ya know, lil guys like my son seem to fall right into that kilt. I would dare you to try and get him out of it. I think it's his new favorite cloth, which would make sense. . . . it's mine too.

    Cheers and blessings

Nighthawk Riggid - Thanks for the leather strap idea. I never would have thought of that. Your right. Cheers.

I study Shotokan. I do a mean kilted side snap kick. Of course... it may not be my yelling that strikes fear into people so much as the fact that I go regimental.

No- the person in front of that kick has seen everything!! :butt: Actually, I wear my gi so I don't disturb my classmates. Or my sensei, who gives me no end of crap, because I refuse to tell him weather or not I go regimental under my pants, as well as my kilts. Wouldn't they all like to know...

Nothing cuter than a kid with his first kilt. Way to go.
