Now I like it. Kilt and shirt look great. Nice cap, too.

    Cheers.

Know its "wrong" just seeing what it looked like...same with the hose...was "endeavoring" to find a way to bring out the red in the tartan...if you stare real close...

    I see it, but....
Why not go the whole hog? Blue hose & really give the kilt police something to get the SWAT team suited up for?

No, no, do it right. Get tartan hose as well as a tartan cap, all in the same tartan, but with different sized setts.

*shrug* didn't bother me, but my personal fashion sense stops with actual color matching and never got past the whole, "but it looks ok with jeans" concept.

I think it looks pretty good actually. I'd change the hose, and those are some pretty crazy looking brogues. On thing I do need to ask, how do you keep the front of your kilt from bulging? I have Dunlaps disease (my belly "dun laps" over my belt) and wearing my kilt around my navel is uncomfortable. This creates a bulge in my kilt about where the sporran is worn.

Easy, I just suck it all in just before the camera clicks...otherwise, I remain seated.
