For me, we had a small gathering here at our house...I wore my khaki Utilikilt all night. Today I am wearing my new Alphakilt. Loving the kilted lifestyle!

I wore my inexpensive polyvicose-acrylic "Heritage of Scotland" kilt to match my lovely Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess' attire.

I also wore out a few Tango partners

It was a fun, though very late night.

    Cheers

Ancient Colquhoun kilt and a black t-shirt with wolves. Earlier we had brought home a loose dog running down the street with no collar. So was up playing "musical dogs" with him and our three. Between the dogs and keeping the fire burning I was pooped and happy to be home on an icy night.

Oh, and a new tam in ranger green.

Tartan pajama pants and a blue and pink Breast Cancer Walk t-shirt...I've been miserably sick for four days!
My younger sister (sibling sister, that is!) sneezed and coughed on me at Christmas, so, of course, I end up much sicker than she was (due to asthma, etc.). Well, there is always next year!

I also caught a cold-started to show itself in earnest in the morning yesterday. Nonetheless, we were up until 3:00 in the morning. Donned the silly hats at midnight:

And I got in a good dip on my love as well-we were a little "granted" , so it's a good thing we didn't end up on the kitchen floor!

I wish everyone a peaceful and prosperous New Year!

    Be well,

An old beat-up pair of grey sweatpants and an equally battered old t-shirt -- what I typically wear before bed. Sherry and I watched the ball drop on TV, had a bit of champagne and some snacks and were in the sack sawing wood by 1am.

    County Armagh tartan.
A maternal theme as this is the first year I have brought in the new year alone.
My maternal grandfather's family came from Lurgan in County Armagh.
Teamed with two toy scotties which my mother made, one of which as you will see is covered with Shepherds/Falkirk/Northumberland tartan material.

Was wearing my really heavy weight military kilt. Was performing at First Night Spokane celebration with our Scottish Country Dance Group. Afterward, we went to the Davenport Hotel for some libations. Great time, great people watching and some really positive comments from the other patrons. By the way, it was 20 degrees F.

I was wearing my dark island kilt, with black jacobean shirt and sleeveless jacket.

My Bretonne National kilt came to the fore on New Year's Eve. With it I wore a black shirt, black hose (with flashes to match the blue in the kilt),
black leather potaine, and black accessories (shoes, belt and sporran). It was a staid evening at the home of a friend of my neighbour - just me and six elderly ladies (I was the 'babe when it came to ages!). Four of the ladies were teetotal and the others made-do with white wine spritzers, as did I.

Hopefully, I will be with friends in San Francisco this time next year!!!!!!

    Take care,
    Ham.
