What did you wear to see in the New Year?
Well obviously we all wore kilts!
But many of us would have a choice as to which one to wear to see the New Year in and it might be interesting to share what we chose.
I wore the Cornish National mainly because I had forgotten to take it with me to Cornwall!
What did other members choose and was there a special reason for doing so?

I wore black jeans, and a blue sweater. I didn't really go out as I had signed up as a designated driver. I showed up at the American Legion at 11:30 and started driving people home about 12:30. Had too much caffeine so I'm still up. I'll be in jeans tomorrow too, 9 a.m. blessing of the bikes.
Last year I was kilted in my O'Neille custom from Kathy Lare. I received a ride home and decided that this year I would volunteer to pay it back.

I wore my black stewart all day long. We stayed home and away from the parties, but there was no way I was going into the new year with pants on.

I wore pants at home due to the fact that my kilt hasn't arrived yet, but, I was on the laptop reading stuff on this db.
It's very windy this morning so I'll wait to ride the bike till this afternoon. Hope everyone had a good New Years eve and a safe one as well.

I wore jeans with doc martens, black braces, a Guinness shirt, a flat cap, and a blue bomber jacket.
I rang in the new year in true skinhead fashion, with Guinness, Potcheen, and a couple of cigars.

I wore jeans...not my kilt...very strong wind gust aren't fun when wearing a kilt. But I was kilted in my heart.
But I did have fun...my cousin and I started a "bonfire" that lasted about 3 minutes - sad, I know - but she laughed as I almost caught my hair on fire whilst lighting heavily oiled straw with a zippo lighter.
Oh, the fun.

I was in jeans and a tee shirt because I was at home. I did manage to get the kids in bed by 9. I have also been sick, so I figured no one would want to go out with me. Also, no babysitter, and husband (who decided to move out in September) is $1100 behind in Child Support (as of today, only $300 behind yesterday...LOL), so no money to do anything with. Oh Well, had fun anyway.
I wish each and everyone of you a wonderful new year.
