    Not a problem. I used to give presentations on heraldry when I was a local history & genealogy librarian for the local public library, so I have just a few sources on "the gentle science".

    Although Scots did use bucklers... and Scottish crests are typically displayed with belts & buckles... I can see where someone could get confused. :-)

    I will badger everyone with this bit of heraldic trivia and confuse the "clansman's badge" issue even further. Several X Markers display coats of arms as their avatar. Assuming these to be their arms (and not those of some other person) how do they display the crest of their chief?

    Yep, saw the previews for it last night (1-5-08) cooking up for what I think were military guys (I usually ignore commercials* but happened to catch a glimpse of that red tartan and "Hey ! He's kilted !!!!)
