    Welcome to the "fold."

Congrats on the military box pleat...from the pic now I think I "get it."

So, W2F left the white line on the selvedge of his own X Marks, Kathy Lare left it on mine, Steve Ashton left it on his....what did W2F do to your selvege to "disappear" the white line on the selvedge?

Jamie, That is a fantastic looking kilt, The workmanship on it is wonderful.
But it did appear that in one picture that you were assuming the position and looked like you had done it on more than one occasion
But all kidding aside you wear that well and it looks good on you.

Looking good. W2F's attention to detail is a wonder. Are you going to wear it to the Burns Night?

    Best regards,

A superb kilt James - you look grand. Very much anticipating seeing it on you in person soon.

So, w2f traveled 70+ miles through one of the worst storms in recent California history to deliver it to you? Now that's dedication!

way2fractious is an outstanding kiltmaker, always works for what appears to me to be freakin' perfection. If I'm a kilt craftsman, way2fractious is a kilt artist. Here's ANOTHER impressive creation from his hands.

It looks absolutely great and I have no doube that it looks even better in person! Wear with pride (as I'm sure you will), Panache!

I will try to get a couple of closeups later today as well as an interesting addition to the inside of the pleats.

You are mistaken! It is to the yellow stripe (time for a new monitor and/or glasses turpin! )

Is that the difference with a military box pleat?
A Military box pleat is, in a nutshell, a knife pleat that has been folded over again on itself. Very different from Matt's box pleats. Hopefully a picture or two will illustrate the difference.

I'll leave that one to the kilt maker.
