New Kilt Arrived
Well, my new (first) kilt just arrived late yesterday afternoon! Tried it on last evening and showed it off to the family. All I have to say is wow, the fit and feel were great. When I opened the box and first took the kilt out I was surprised at the weight, but after I had it on the weight was hardly noticable.
BTW I got a 16oz formal in Caladonian modern made by Strathmore through the Celtic Croft. The hand stitching is wonderful, and the pleat to the sett is as perfect as I could have hoped for. If any of you are looking for a new kilt I'd recommend Celtic Croft, they certainly gave me great service, and never hesitated to answer any questions I had on my many phone calls to them. Thanks to Lauri, Steve and the rest of the staff there. ![Clap](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/clap.gif)
Can't wait to put it back on this evening and head over to my parents house, and my friend from the Scottish border country to show them.

Congratulations. But be prepared: As someone once told me, it may be the first of more. Certainly seems that way. I've ordered 3 in the past 2 weeks!

Me Too,
I was lucky enough to find a weathered Gordon from Celtic Croft a while back. Guess they'd made it for someone else who got their size wrong. The "mistake" size turned out to be my size and I snapped it up. 13 oz from Lochcarron cloth.
Here's a pic of the Celtic Croft craftsmanship.

And, as you said the service was wonderful. Such a delight when you make that first call and discover customer oriented service.

I'll try to get a picture posted this evening. Never posted pictures before, so hang in there if I don't get it correct the first time.
