Correct me please if I am wrong - but trews aren't just tartan pants.
Trews are very high wasted, like the kilt and also have no pockets....right.
I really don't know, as I've never seen anybody in real ones, only pictures, or somebody wearing golf slacks almost as trews.

you are wrong, they may have pockets and should be much more fitted to the individual. They are high waisted but are fitted not just like Grandad pants!!
