Great pics and looks like you had a good time, but what exactly as a Mid Atlantic day.
Here in Scotland the phrase Mid Atlantic is usually applied as an adjective to describe a person's accent if they speak a blend of Scots with Canadian or American.

Yeah the title may be a bit confusing. It was a Day After Burns Day event, that took place in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US.

It's amazing how much better things look in real life than on a computer screen. I thought the new Dove tartan looked great in pictures but it looks incredible live. Also, the celtic dove kilt pin made by O'Neille really compliments the kilt well.
I had a good time and look forward to the next get-together.
By the way, after everyone else left, my wife and I looked around at some of the shops and I was stopped three times and asked what was going on with all the kilts that day. One woman asked a few questions about where to get kilts (for some event of a friend of hers) and I was able to give her a USAkilts business card with a few more X-marks vendors written down for good measure.
Here are a few pictures we took:
first the mandatory group shot

and a few casual shots

You should have told them that people in kilts got special deals.

Looks like fun folks. Sorry I had to miss this one but I'll try to make the next.
