Used a time or two by me:
"If you were enough of a woman to ever find out, you'd be too much of a lady to ask."
A word of warning: while the pretty ones laugh, the ones who aren't seem to take a bit of offense ; )
I used it on Monday night at a local club, and the bartender, overhearing, nearly dropped the drink he was mixing as he laughed. My interrogator wasn't quite as amused....

If a woman asks, tell her she's got to tell you what she's got on underneath.

"Why are you wearing a kilt?"
"Because one of my legs is the same."
No typo, a variation of an old Annapolis duck response I believe.

I got into this discussion with one of the neighborhood girls (about 7 y.o.)
Her: "Why are you wearing a skirt?"
Me: It's not a skirt, skirts are for girls. This is a kilt.
Her: What's the difference?
Me: How do you put a skirt on
Her: (Pantomimes pulling a skirt on)
Me: When I put on my kilt, I wrap it around me and fasten it (Not always true, but she didn't need to know that).
Her: My mom has skirts that she puts on like that.
Me: Why is your mom wearing kilts? Kilts are for boys.

You do realize that had you not added that last line you would've been bested by a seven year old, happens to me all the time.

Why are you wearing a kilt? Answer: Why are you wearing pants?
At -30 degrees ...For the warmth.
For "the question":
from female: Do you ask every man about their underwear?, What is under your dress/skirt? What do you wear under your jeans.
from a male: Do you ask many men what is on under their pants?
Shoes and Socks., Your girlfriend's lipstick. Ask your girlfriend.
