Thanks for all the well wishes!
It's certainly going to be good to be back with Diane and not jetting around all over the place.
I'm hoping that once I'm settled in I can begin climbing the ladder to eventually get a job as a forest ranger.
I'll have to get experience and a few qualifications first not to mention my citizenship, but I'll get there.
As for all the bonnets... I have been practicing so that I can help Diane with knitting them and speed up production, but she's a stickler for quality so it may be a while before I'm making them.
In the meantime she'll probably be knocking them out faster because she won't be stressed out and weeping over me all the time.

Oh, great! Another immigrant!
You know, my people have been having trouble with immigrants ever since we came to this country!
Seriously, welcome...hope that it all works out well for you.

The F-H.C.A.G. and I might be around there come Thanksgiving time. Besides won't Diane be out here in the Nor Cal Rabble's territory for Asilomar?
Cheers

good luck!
As someone who has also recently relocated to the 'States, I know what you're going through - I wish you fair winds and a good journey! I know how much is involved in such a move!
Congrats on reaching this final stage of your move!

It'll be good to have you over here. Scotland's loss. United States' gain.

Fantastic! If you are around we'll show you some of the really good places to go.
Diane will indeed be going to Asilomar. As, indeed, will I.
(Here's hoping I'm good enough by the time I go there.)
