I'm moving to America!
Well, it's all finalised and the tickets are booked.
I leave Scotland for London on the 16th of April and then on the 17th of April I leave London and head to the U.S.
I'll be in Idaho by the end of the evening on the 17th and back with my beautiful wife.
I've done everything I can to make sure my dog Pip deals O.K with the journey over.
Diane's got us a nice house and she's got it all nicely decorated. We've got a front and back garden and we'll even have a few chickens to go along with the veggies and stuff Diane is growing.
It looks like after all the years of going back and forth I am finally going to get all settled down.
Took long enough!
So I'm getting my affairs here settled and trying to figure out a weekend where I can head down to Dumfries and bother Robertson and Alex before I go.
Then I'll be trying to sort out some decent kilt nights in Idaho.

Good for you! Being unsettled stinks, that's for sure!

Arlen
I think it's wonderful that you are taking the step and that everything is working out, I certainly hope that the journey is not too taxing on Pip.

Congratulations! Be sure to pat the chickens on the head before you steal their eggs.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Wonderful! Hope you & Pip have a smooth journey, and if I ever make over that way to visit the in-laws (they live in Sandpoint, Idaho) I'll have to join you for a kilt night!

Scotland's loss will be Idaho's gain!
Wonderful that you will be back with your wife and be able to settle down finally.
