Still don't know.....had a poop-suck day at work, weather's been nasty all day(Ron, drive careful!), and me Lass probably won't be able to make it.
But...........
My order from Stillwater came today!
I feel the need to show off!!

So why didn't you upload the cell phone camera pic to photobucket and post it, silly goose!?
I missed your calls, but left you vms at home and on cell. Did you end up sneaking outta town after all? (I slept from Midnight friday night until about 8:20pm Saturday night, basically straight through..... yark).

...was a fabulous day! I met Mr. Riverkilt and Mr. Chromescholar and the whole kit and kaboodle of the Sonoran Scottsmen. Enjoyed a wee bit of a kilt night after the games at Fibber McGee's in southeast Phoenix...maybe Mesa...it's hard to tell the difference. Photos to follow when I get a few extra minutes...

Back home again. It was great to meet everyone. Left my camera in the car, so no pics for me. Did get a pic taken with Riverkilt, hopefully he will post it. Found black kilt hose for my big fat calves, and a kilt pin. Watched the Wicked Tinkers. Got sick. Wandering around with a stuffed up head and low grade fever now. More in depth coverage when I feel better.

I was there, but spent almost all day on the field. I did get a quick lunch break and walked the clan area but didn't see anyone I knew. I took 4th place in a very tight field of ten competitors. Most events were contested by a matter of inches between placings.

Dang Yaish,
Looked for you...couldn't get close enough. Didn't see a Leatherneck tartan and must have missed you when they announced the competitors.
Glad ya did well. I heard the Worldwide selection of competitors...no local walk in the park deal. You can be proud of your finishs.
Working on pics...just back and unpacked.

I almost was able to go yesterday, but my ride canseled on me. The good news is that today the checkout lady at Walmart asked me if I had gone to the "Games"...
Oh, I was kilted on my shopping trip, and I guess that's why she asked. I'm way too weak and scrawny to throw a telephone pole and so on...
It was a little sad that I wasn't able to go.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Well dang again!
I was fervently hoping Sylvana might give you a ride.
There was an attractive young lady wearing a Kilt Inspector tank top...hoped it might be Sylvana. Twice I stopped as she approached and spread by arms wide in a "check me" jesture...sadly, she declined both times...
Hope I remembered her name correctly...

She has been code named Mrs. Marmalade on the forum, Ron. Perhaps next year she and I could make plans to go to the games, and maybe even meet you, Ron.
Oops... I... forgot to add... the "...s"
