    I looked for a hurley over here in the States and I couldn't find one. I couldn't find a supplier online either. I guess I never checked ebay, but you'd think an Irish online sporting goods store would sell them.

    Yeah, i've had a hard time myself. Bought mine from another player. Still not sure where to find one here in the States. Probably just have to order from a shop in Eire.

    more hurling

    and I thought about a different type of hurling which I dabble in....

    the catapult/ trebuchet/ballista crowd refer to their activity as hurling as well. I have a little one for hurling golf balls [36" arm] in my dinning room

    It sounds like you are talking about something similar to an atlatle [sp?] or Jai Alai?
