Thank you all for your accolades. I appreciate the kudos very much.

Actually you'll need a few more posts. You get to be a Kilted Samurai when you hit 250. Keep on posting!

Well here are a few pictures that show "our" kit from this side of the pond.No kilts I am afraid!Tweed and leather though.
A tweed three piece shooting suit.

Double gun case,single gun sleeve(should be two), 250 cartridge bag,shooting stick,tweed cap.

Hinged for fast loading flap.

Assorted tweeds on a shooting day.

The double guncase was made in 1924,the gunsleeve(s) were made in 1960,the cartridge bag was made in 1980,and the shooting suit was made in 2000.If you want to see what is inside the gun case you will have to PM me.Sorry.
You may wonder why the gaudy straps. There are two reasons, firstly it is for my loader to gather up my kit easily and secondly I can see where my loader is from a far so that he and I plus the correct kit arrive at the same place!

For deerstalking, often the same type of tweed suit(older more ragged),stout boots, waterproof(ish)coat.
Canvas rifle slip--too rough and wet for leather.Cromach,3 draw telescope(better than binoculars on the hill),telescope case, compass(I am never too proud to carry one),binoculars(woodland stalking),knife. If you want to know what is in the slip PM me.Sorry.
