I'm REALLY fired up about this kilt. I keep coming back to look at it. The design should be trademarked. It is a great option for military members & guys like Chase (PMCs).
Grant, you & Robert have struck onto something great!

That has to be the most versatile kilt ever. Congrats Grant, and Robert NEEDS to patent the design

Thanks everyone. This was a one off design, mainly RKilt with a wider apron. Not to take credit away from Robert but I do feel that this was a true collaboration, some ideas of mine and Robert's interperation and design. I would like to see some of these features in future RKilts and as far as I'm concerned Robert is more than welcome carry these over. Perhaps it's time to let him know what interests you in future RKilts, I know I got exactly what I was hoping for (except, as Colin so kindly () pointed out, the pletera of lovely ladies wanting to kilt check me).

Chin up Man! You have had some middling success with Robert's dog. Who knows how you will fare with the various woodland animals you might encounter during your paintball games.

    Yesterday a dog, Tomorrow a...err...squirrel?

    Cheers

Grant - Just what is inside the paint balls? Is it really paint? And could you then paint something with them?

What I'm trying to figure out, is if there could be any practical use for them?

Yes, they do have other uses next time you go out for a kilt night get a little too tanked up and see what San Diego SWAT has... part of their less than lethal equipment may include various items like cayenne pepper balls or solid rubber balls and the like. Believe me a few quick shots of paintballs at close range is enough to deter anyone . I could definatly say I would not like to be hit by these riot control rounds. We wear special goggles when we play as at 300 fps, they will take an eye out, but have added considerably to police options over the old rubber bullets.

I know that our military also do some training with paintballs as do various police services. It's a valuble training tool. Lacking only in only in range (200') and accurracy it gives a great excuse to have a beer or two after the game (or in our case during ). I'd recommend going down to Pendleton to see if they have a pick up game.
