I love both my thorfinn sporrans so you can't go wrong there but I do have aplain brown military stlye sporran left from Lan M highland outfitters i can let it go for a fairly good price if interested pm comes with a leather strap.

Yep ! That's the right thing to do !
I tore appart old swede coats and used the leather of huge old lady's purses... worked fine !

Totally agree with our correspondent above, have just taken delivery of my freelander sporran, workmanship is second to none and the leather is of an excellent quality, choice of colours as well. Have a look at their web site, you wont be disappointed....
