Was it Huck Finn or Tom Sawyer who was caught that way, putting his knees together to catch something.... a thimble I believe?

Yeah, I've been known to sweep my shorts.
Oddly, though, I don't do it when I'm wearing pants.

As you are sitting, you sweep your hand under your butt so the pleats of your kilt don't get crushed and creased when you sit. It evens out the pleats.

Yep, that's one of the sure signs that you're a hard-core kilt wearer.
Question: Have any of you fellows noticed that it's harder to remember to fasten your fly (on the odd occasion when you're wearing pants), now that you're a kilt wearer, or is that just me?

I'd say my big oops moment was when some guy said "nice skirt" from behind me...
I wheeled around starting to correct him to the fact its a kilt when I noticed I was wearing trousers and he wasn't even talking to me ... seems his GF just got a new skirt ![Shocked](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)

I think Riverkilt covered this similar situation.
