Sweeping your pleats
Fellow kilted,
I had my first subconscious sweeping of the pleats today. Was at the gym, doing the manly weight lifting. After completing a few supersets, I went to sit down on a bench. Nothing unnatural about that! Except I swept my gym shorts as I was sitting down.
Sincerely
unkilted at the gym

"You know you're a kilt wearer when..."
"To the make of a piper go seven years of his own learning, and seven generations before. At the end of his seven years one born to it will stand at the start of knowledge, and leaning a fond ear to the drone he may have parley with old folks of old affairs." - Neil Munro

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Kind of the opposite of checking your zipper when kilted....

I usually get a few chuckles at work the day after I've worn a kilt. The co-worker who sits behind me occasionally catches me sweeping my trousers. It's not the sweeping that's the embarrassing part to me. It's that I have so few kilts I still have to wear trousers.

At least when you check your zipper while kilted you can turn it into centering your sporran.
Now just wait till the next time you drop something in your lap... do your knees go apart or together?

That's exactly what I was thinking just before I got to the "Sincerely"
