I wore my Macdonald Modern tank and went about my day as normal.
I think the only person around me who knew the date was my Dad.
I had ancestors who fought on Teàrlach's side and hastily changed the surname from Macdonald to Donald before moving to a different part of Scotland afterwards.

I wore my saltire pin today. I would have gone kilted to work, but we are doing a major cleaning before our office open house. The only person to really ask about the pin was my coworker who broght it back for me from Dunedin. I think I shall finish my night up by reading the chapter about the Jacobite Years in David R Ross's "A passion For Scotland"
