We found kiltrental.com yesterday and thought it might be what we wanted. I figured I'd best ask around here though. Thanks.

I had great service from 'em - quick to ship, so I wasn't worried about getting it in time - IIRC they had it to me more than a week beforehand.
Just had to pop it back in the box and ship it back a few days after - no problem there.
The kilt was very nicely made, better than I'd expected it to be, really. They even included a few extras - sporran, belt, buckle, flashes - even though I told 'em I already had them. They said they'd put 'em in the box 'just in case.'
Weddings are a stressful enough time (don't get me started about the rings from Ireland, ordered MONTHS beforehand, which showed up 3 days before the wedding). Kiltrental.com made a least one thing totally painless.

Had great experience for my wedding with the Groomsmen in Scottish National from Scottish Merchant in Alexandria.

They ship anywhere, the rental manager is awesome with a lot of experience with sizing people, even from afar... I would heartily recommend them!
My experience is that there is some variation in rental tartans available. I went with the one that went best with my Livingston kilt (mostly red) and the color (red) of the bridesmaids dresses (and most importantly, the one my wife liked best, which involved ordered swatches and comparing with bridesmaid dress swatches, for full disclosure).
Scottish National has only a touch of red, but that was enough to make it a touch better than the Black Watch. I also didn't want it to be a *different* red than mine that would just be confused, like Royal Stewart, so I went with the Scottish National for the groomsmen. It was subdued, but very nice.
I also had another friend at the wedding rent from the Scottish Tartans Museum on his own, and he got the National Millenium tartan, which I also really liked! A beautiful tartan!

Highly recommend both shops.
