SASS is kinda like a blanket organization, in order to shoot SASS events, you must join the organization, $$$$. to shoot CAS you don't have to be a member of SASS, you are dealing with local groups. they are pretty easy going. it does cost some big bucks to get started, in SASS or CAS, not counting costumes you could be looking at a one -two thousand $'s.
