    While I understand - sorta - those who want to wear only tartan that they have some connection with, I find this attitude boring.

    Being a full time kilt wearer, I can't think how it would be if I only had one tartan in the closet. Of course this might also be a blow-back to being a retired Marine also, where I was required to wear the same clothes as everyone else...?

    Me, I wear every tartan that I find an attraction for. I do try and remember which tartan I am wearing and also a bit of history about that tartan, just for conversation. Today, when I venture out of the house, I plan on wearing Ferguson.
