We decided to get out of Dodge, at the first storm... Frederick Celtic fest was enough mud for one season... LOL!

I wasn't actually there last year, but I went with a friend who's performed there before and her father's been reenacting there for years and years, so that was the hot topic of the trip.
This year saw a new man in charge, I can't remember his name, but he was very nice and really seemed to be hard at work after the storms hit to be sure that the event delays stayed just that: delays rather than cancellations.
The performers I talked to seemed to be enjoying it and a decent crowd stayed through the heat, then the storms, then the cold, then the storms I wouldn't call it resurrected but from what I know it definitely seemed like a step in the right direction!
