			First Xkilt Complete
		
			
				
					Just finished my first Xkilt. I started about 10am on Sunday morning, worked until about 5pm and passed out. Woke up at Midnight and started working from 1am til about 30 minutes ago.
 It turned out nicely I think. It still needs to be cleaned and pressed but here's an idea of how it looks and some photos along the way.
 
 
  
  
 
  
  
 The front left of the apron is a little wonky, but I think it may just be that the big under pleat needs some ironing.
 
 I may add two more belt loops as well, but I got tired of sewing.

					Well done. The fact that guys tackle a sewing machine without fear and trepidation still amazes me!

	Oh I wasn't without fear. You should have seen me trying to figure out how to route the thread from the top (luckily there's little pictures with numbers.) Even worse was me trying to figure out how to replace and re-spool the bobbin.
