I'll raise a glass to the Mods this evening.
To Nelson,
A splendid fellow who first welcomed me to the Mod Squad and really helped get me going (I'm glad I had the opportunity to lift a glass with him and his lovely wife in person.)
To Todd,
When I have no clue what historical event someone is talking about is, Todd can always be counted on to have an explanation, a link, and of course references. I owe him a huge debt for all his help and feedback with preparing for our Nor Cal Rabble Burns Nights. (Not to mention he is a heck of a Zeppelin pilot )
To Colin,
An all round swell and generous fellow and a fun guy to debate with. I look forward to visiting the Tipsy Laird and lifting a wee (or not so wee) dram with him. (Someday we will get those XMTS rugby shirts for sale. Someday!)
To David,
On the forum and off, he always makes me laugh. He taught me that moderation doesn't have to be without a sense of humor. Not nearly as evil as everyone thinks he is (though still evil nevertheless). I've also heard he makes a halfway decent sporran
To Mike,
Who has put up with, answered and/or fixed 18,345 (at last count) absolutely stupid tech related questions, concerns, and problems from me.
I have learned a lot about internet forums and Scotland (both old and modern) from him and am the richer for it. We may have very different ways of expressing ourselves and may not always agree, but I have always admired that he says what he thinks. Such honesty is rare. Even though he is not longer a Mod at least he still is our chief Techie guy. I look forward to sending him the next 18,345 PMs that begin "Mike I have a little problem..."
To Glen and Bradley,
Though you have been part of the Mod Squad for only a few months you are both invaluable to the team. You have proven yourselves to be as much gentlemen as Moderators as you were when you were Members. The energy and enthusiam you have brought to the Mod Squad has meant that the rest of us no longer have to work at all...err...so hard...err... carry on ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
You are all people that I am proud to call friends
Cheers Gents!
Jamie

I well know what this lot goes through, each and every day. And I appreciate all the effort they put into their responsibilities. Things would be a l-o-t different around here if these fellows were not on the job.
Congratulations and a big thank you for all your devotion and dedication to this forum!
(Yes, even you Jamie! )
