Clan MacThomas gathering Place

I promised some time ago that I would post some photos of the gathering place of Clan MacThomas and took these on my annual pilgrimage to fish on Deeside.
This is the sign pointing to the gathering place -


and here is the view from there looking towards Spittal of Glenshee -


This is where the sign is pointing but there is no path or other indication of a site -


Further on the countryside becomes even more inhospitable as the road climbs towards the summit -


at the top is the ski centre -
