Never would have guessed this was a first effort. The folks who labored to make it happen should be proud.

And, the New Hampshire tartan is on my wishlist already...just had to tease me again eh?

Saw it in Matt's shop at Kilt Kamp, and I couldn't leave without it!

And the little drummer is a wonderful little kid - he's been playing with our band since the beginning of the summer. His mom is one of our pipers, and his grampa is pipe major of our Grade 5 competition band.

Great pics! It looks like a great day was had by all. I'm just sorry that I couldn't make it there, but life intruded.

I too would like to say thanks for the pics. My brother, son and I went for a few hours Saturday and despite the heat had a good time. There were some glitches, but for a first event we thought it went very well. The gal who organized it should be commended for a great job. Hopefully it'll take off and grow in the future, as it's nice to have it in essentially in our back yard. Am looking forward to seeing more photos posted!

I really wanted to go as well but I had a family function to attend on the same day. It looks like it was a very good time. Next year for sure.

    Thanks for sharing the pictures.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear
